Hello, I’m Lindsay. Thank you for visiting!

I live in a flat in central Manchester after moving here for university (way too many years ago now). I’m lucky enough to have two balconies that I’ve managed to fill with plants. When I’m not at home trying to keep them all alive I’m more than likely found at a gig or occupying a corner of one of my favourite Northern Quarter pubs.

My interest in photography began as a teenager who loved art but couldn’t draw to save their life. Looking for a creative outlet I started taking photos of anything I could with my little compact digital camera, before discovering Photoshop and gradually learning photo-manipulation, and how to share on 2004-style social media (remember DeviantArt anyone?).

In the years that followed I worked in ‘office’ jobs, I travelled, but I always made room to keep taking photos and learning more and more about photography. I’ve photographed gigs, worked part time as an events and wedding photographer and most recently focused on photography as a means to create art.
